Evergreen Academy Middle School's Grading Scale:

100-90                    A

89-80                      B

79-70                      C

69-60                      D

Below 60                 F

Your Mathematics grade will be determined using the following Grading Criteria:

Classwok/Participation..................30%

H.E.A.T.(homework)  .......................................10%

Formative Assessments..................25%

             (reflective prompts, quizzes, etc..)                

Summative Assessments.................35%
(chapter tests, projects, etc.)     

After homework is three days late, NO credit will be granted.  For each day the homework is late, a letter grade will be deducted.  

It is the responsibility of the student to find out what work was assigned during their absence.  

If a student missing a quiz/test due to an absence it is their responsibility to make-up the exam before/after school.  Please make arrangements with Mrs. Guerrero-Diaz to make-up any missed quizzes/tests.
